Triple the FUN Race Series - 6K, 12K, 18K

The Events

We have rescheduled this series for 2017. We are in the process of doing some restructuring of the individual events. If you were planning to do this in 2016, we apologize for the inconvenience.

If you would like to send us your email address, we will put you on the notification list for 2017 when we reopen the series. If you join the email list, you will receive $10 off the series registration fee. Click here to send us a message.

We are excited to announce that The PULSE Running & Fitness Shop is hosting a new road race series on the greenbelt. With three race distances – 6K, 12K, 18K – increasing with each event each month, runners and walkers can build up gradually. A unique feature of this series is that each race will be held on a Thursday evening at 630 pm. Therefore, it won’t interfere with weekend training plans.

The series is designed with several purposes in mind:

  • to train beginning runners or walkers with gradual build up towards a possible longer event

  • to give veteran runners a chance to practice their speed work during the week

  • to provide a fun, safe event for families at a reasonable price

  • to prepare runners or walkers for all spring/summer races

Race Courses

All races will start/finish at the parking lot of George’s Cycles at 5515 W State St (located across the street from the Boise PULSE). From George’s, we will run / walk on Plantation River to the entrance of the greenbelt approximately a ½ mile. The rest of the race will be run on the greenbelt.

Swag & Awards & Timing

Participants will receive a race shirt when they pick up their race packets. There will be a finisher item for each finisher of each race and a special item for completing all three events. There will be no age group awards or overall awards. While these are designed to be training events, we will time the races; however, they will not be chip timed.

Aid Stations

The 6K will have one aid station location which racers will pass twice; the 12K will have two aid station locations which racers will pass twice each; the 18K will have 3 aid station locations which they will pass twice each.
